Since group buying sites have been popularized in the Philippines, I would find myself buying deals even though I know I don’t need it. Talk about being an impulsive shopper. So anyway, one of the deals that caught my attention was the bargain for a toy camera in Cashcashpinoy!

Uhuh, only for 350 pesos, I got two Vivitar EZ35! I am not really sure what is the real price for this kind of toy camera but sure it’s a bargain! I decided to give the other one to J. Hihi lol

I am not a professional photographer yet I love taking pictures, may it be an ant or a portrait. It’s such a joy for me keeping moments through capture images. I have thought (long ago) of really engaging into photography but it is an expensive hobby… So I’d probably make that happen when I have a good paying job already. lol

Oh, I got the cameras a week before the delivery date they posted. I was shocked that someone knocked on our gate because I wasn’t expecting any package. Anyway, when I held the package pouch, I was even more shocked that it weighed like nothing.

When I opened the package, I was a little disappointed because it didn’t come in a box or.. was I the only one expecting for a box? The two cameras in each bubble wrap and the manual does have 5-6 pages.

So anyway, I bought 36 shots film two weeks ago and had J developed it and convert it into digital photos just last week. I’ve been looking for a Digiprint branch but the one in Megamall is closed already (oh, correct me if I’m wrong but the information desk lady said there’s no longer Digiprint in their list, what!). J had it done in Photoline in Rob Forum instead (formerly Pioneer).

He’s going to get the cds today and I really hope that there are real shots in there!!! Just so you know, this toy camera doesn’t need battery to operate. It has that wheel where you have to rotate so the film will roll inside. What can I say, it spells old and vintage.

Also, it doesn’t have auto film rewind so I had to do the work. However, having no idea about real old cameras, I probably would had exposed the film because.. Hmm, when I tried rewinding the film with the cover closed, the film tears up. ): and so I had to open it and lift the square holes from the wheel so it wont tear. Oh, I just hope the film money and digitalizing the photos wont go to waste. Grr.

Yes, you can add a flash by the way! Oh, let’s just keep our fingers crossed for my film to have something in there. lol all the photos’ subject was our cat, Percy hahaha! I’ll be posting the photos (my fingers are crossed!!!) once it’s out! TTFN.

Things are relatively depressing; like everything is interconnected to make my life miserable. I may or may not be overreacting but that’s how shallow I see things right now.

Highlight of them all, I still don’t have a job. It is depressing, you know. It’s already September. Shall I consider my plans and life in general as a failure? I always say to myself, don’t give up. There’s one perfect job for you. Where is it?

I WILL NOT MAKE THIS POST MORE DEPRESSING THAN FEW WORDS BACK.

Celebrate! Celebrate for it was my birthday last Thursday. Yes (for how many times I should tell this), Mama Mary, Kelly of @ayokongmag.com and I share the same birth date!!! How cool are we?

J and I met at TriNoma. We ate lunch at Fish & Co. and Conti’s for dessert! I was full yet again. Always and always when I’m with him! I had lemonade drink for my lunch meal and strawberry banana yogurt drink for my dessert.. sounds bad for my tummy, eh? That’s just pig-ness. New york and strawberry cheesecake. Nomnom.

Also watched a movie, my choice which now I truly regret. Zombadings could have been better, I think. I’d give it 6 out of 10 stars! I get the story but.. the question is.. WHY? You should watch it if you’re curious. Suspense, comedy.. Okay!

Then went to Timezone to play Love and Berry for I have the dream to beat the Friday-kid who has an album of the game’s cards! Hahahahaha! I’ve seen her twice already but not that time because it was Thursday then. Her mother is even supportive of her.. P39 per swipe!!! Eff.

Played Stackers, too. Still haven’t won anything but consolation prizes. So far, I’ve got pick up sticks, shoot-the-circles game (I don’t know what it is called haha) and a skeleton keychain. Bleeech. ):

We should never hang out in Timezone ever again even we get discounts from the movie passes. It’s just making us poorer! Ha, but still fun. Shall we save the Timezone budget for what we’re aiming to win in Stackers? Hahaha!

Being 21 is awesome. I am positive that that job will be few days away from today. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!

Things I have done for the past week:

  • Finally bought Sims 3!
  • Had an interview twice because of call back
  • Played Sims3 and Sims Social
  • Went out, date out

Yesterday, I had pesto from Five Cows. It’s the best pesto I’ve ever tasted. One of my favorites now! Also had Oreo Cheesecake from Conti’s. Sorry, J is so making me a pig.

I am taking back what I posted in my I was away blog. Being a bum isn’t life. The truth is, being bum or simply called ‘unemployed’ is having no life at all. I have no money to spend and that means I am totally staying at home for until I have work.

By the way, it’s almost a month since I decided to sponsor a child through World Vision. Dream come true, I say. My sponsor kiddo is the cutest ever!

I decided to pay quarterly and it’s the best decision I ever made. I can still earn from blogging for few months and then cash out for her. Sweeeet! I hope she learns how to read and write asap so she can write back! I can’t waaaait! :)

Oh, not really. I was training for a customer support agent position from March 28 till last week. All because I wanted money for my week-Palawan trip scheduled this coming June 19. Oh, but it’s cancelled already. Not cool, right? Let’s move on because I booked again last June 12 from AirPhil (again). Just because they had this seat sale. P113!!!

By the way, I already graduated from college. Yes yes yo, kiddo riddo mimmos! (Where the hell I got that?) May 06, it was held at World Trade Center. There were few words and phrases to sum up that day: awkwardness, sore feet to the highest level, thickest make-up I wore, sadness, reality, faking. (: It had me absent from training but of course, I waited for that day to come!

Right now, I’m staying at home most of the time. Watching Secret Garden and browsing endlessly. I went out yesterday! Finally watched Kung Fu Panda 2!!! (; It was so nice, I want to have a copy and watch it over and over again.

No work, so bum. I can say, this is life.
