Oh, not really. I was training for a customer support agent position from March 28 till last week. All because I wanted money for my week-Palawan trip scheduled this coming June 19. Oh, but it’s cancelled already. Not cool, right? Let’s move on because I booked again last June 12 from AirPhil (again). Just because they had this seat sale. P113!!!

By the way, I already graduated from college. Yes yes yo, kiddo riddo mimmos! (Where the hell I got that?) May 06, it was held at World Trade Center. There were few words and phrases to sum up that day: awkwardness, sore feet to the highest level, thickest make-up I wore, sadness, reality, faking. (: It had me absent from training but of course, I waited for that day to come!

Right now, I’m staying at home most of the time. Watching Secret Garden and browsing endlessly. I went out yesterday! Finally watched Kung Fu Panda 2!!! (; It was so nice, I want to have a copy and watch it over and over again.

No work, so bum. I can say, this is life.

Movie: 10 Promises To My Dog

A Japanese movie released way back 2008 is about Akari, (her dog) Socks, and the 10 promises to a dog! These are the 10 promises:

1) Listen patiently to what I have to say.
2) Trust me, for I am always on your side.
3) Play with me a lot.
4) Don’t forget that I have feelings too.
5) Let’s never fight, ‘Cause someday, I’ll be big enough to win.
6) If I don’t obey you, I have a good reason.
7) You have school, and friends. But as for me, I only have you.
8) Stay my best friend even when I’m old.
9) I’ll only live about ten years, so let’s make every moment count.
10) I’ll never forget our life together. So when my time comes, please be by my side.

When I heard of the 7th promise, I just wanted to cry. I feel like animals now. Like how they should be treated and be loved. We have cats and they depend on us in terms of food, water and shelter. They only have us. No one else.

Akari actually didn’t keep her promises as she had to leave for work and thought of Socks as a burden. Ah, especially when her childhood friend came back from abroad. My sister commented, “Ano ba yan si Akari, lumalandi pa kasi.”

Chinese and French

For an ultimate experience, my friend and I bought VIP tickets for the 3rd week of the 2nd Philippine International Pyromusical Competition. That was just last Saturday, February 26. Battle between China and France.

What is included in P500 VIP ticket?

  • monoblock chairs (free seating, limited seats)

K. So basically you get to sit when you arrive early. That’s it. Nothing else. I just realized that wherever you are standing near the area, if you have tickets or not, you can have a glimpse of the show.

The program started 30 minutes late. There was fire dance, dragon dance and a guy singing French songs. I could hardly see those in the stage but I could tell those were Filipinos performing the dragon dance (they were rehearsing near the boundary between VIP and the VVIP*).

Ha, what I really liked about our spot was the chair and the fireworks seemed displayed in front of us. <3 And what I totally hate? That woman who always said, “Ayan na, tapos na yan. (There it is, it’s done.)” when it had only been 5 minutes of the show. I wanted to tell her, SHUT UP JUST WATCH. Display of fireworks was good for 20 minutes per country.

*VVIP = VIP with dinners? Or just special guests? Idk.

The Host

I DIDN’T KNOW NOLIMITSHOST.INFO WAS HACKED.

It was just today that my sites reacted. Chrome was saying it got malwares from a particular site; Firefox was saying it is an attacked site. I had to click proceed anyway/it’s not an attacked site just to see what’s wrong and stuff. There was nothing wrong, I thought.

I checked their client area but nada, the account was suspended. Also checked nlh.info’s site but it was showing of nonsense. Last January 16, my friend (who was intending to purchase a hosting plan from nlh) contacted me and asked me why nlh’s site was off. I had no clue.

Srsly, I didn’t know that there was something wrong. I had abandoned this site for months so I had no clue. It was just so heartbreaking. I knew I had to start all over again but not from scratch! Good thing I was able to at least export my posts.

After hours of looking for cheap and reliable host, I found Snoobhosting. Not cheap cheap but fine for now. I only paid for 3 months. Bah, I was so desperate to transfer name servers.

Anyway, I’m hoping that things will go well with Snoob. Also, I must backup like ever week. Right. Later.

As you can see, I tweaked my old layout. Looks better for me! I’d have that spirit to blog again for a while!

I will update you guys about my second semester activity list. So this was the list dated November 17 of last year.

  • 150 more hours of Practicum
  • Finalizing thesis
  • Thesis defense
  • Physics lecture and laboratory :-&
  • Hassle grades compilation
  • Applying for graduation

Oh yes, I’m so done with Practicum. In fact, I already passed all my requirements! I just hope my evaluation from my immediate head won’t get lost!

Also, thesis’ done. Finally! We passed the oral defense. Sweeeeeet. Since we got no camera, I just used this netbook’s webcam (just saying so you would not be surprised with the photo quality) to take a picture of our group.

We decided to wear that same top we used for our seminar. Saves money and brain cells. We paired it with a black skirt. ;)

The semester will end very soon. Like we only have 3 weeks to go! Sweet, right? No more homeworks, discussions and school stuff. I’m so excited. I haven’t planned life after graduation but I have enough leads.

It’s either I take 18 teaching units or apply as an hr staff. Whatever. I just hope there’s really something for me in the future.
